Adam Levine is heading back to his old stomping grounds.
The Maroon 5 frontman, 45, will return as a coach on "The Voice" for Season 27 after a six-year absence from the singing competition show, NBC announced Wednesday.
He'll be joined on the coaching panel by Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé and John Legend.
Levine served as coach on "The Voice" for 16 consecutive seasons beginning with the show's inception in 2011 before departing in 2019 and being replaced by Gwen Stefani.
Ballerini is taking her seat in the red chair after serving as battle advisor in "The Voice" Season 16 and filling in as a coach in Season 20. Legend, meanwhile, is back for his 10th season, while Bublé will return from Season 26.

In 2019, Levine said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that after leaving "The Voice," he was spending "time with my new young family and just (having) the greatest time ever," adding, "Now I'm just, like, a stay-at-home dad. I just stay home and do very little. It's great."
The following year, he suggested it was unlikely he would return to "The Voice," as when a fan on Instagram asked him to come back, he replied, "No thank you."

Levine was later embroiled in scandal in 2022 after model Sumner Stroh accused him of having an affair amid his wife's pregnancy. He denied the allegations but admitted he "used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner."
"The Voice" recently concluded its 25th season, with Asher HaVon, a part of Team Reba, being crowned the winner. Legend, Chance the Rapper and Dan + Shay also served as coaches.
When will 'The Voice' Season 27 air?
"The Voice" season 27 is set to air on NBC in spring 2025.
